A Firefighter and A Marine Corps Veteran, united by a shared calling: to serve. We built our real estate team on the same values that defined our careers —
integrity, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to others. When you work with us, you’re not just a client. You’re the mission.
Around those same values — Everything we do is grounded in those same principles: putting people first, earning trust, and showing up for our clients and community the same way we always have.
Michael:
Once I saw the opportunity in real estate, I was all in. I quit my job, refinanced my home, and set aside six months of savings—just as my now‑wife Danielle was in surgical school and moving in. It was a major turning point, but every chapter of my life up to that moment had prepared me to take the leap and commit fully to the people I serve.

I grew up in Southwest Florida with straightforward values: respect others, work hard, and make the most of what you have. In 2005, at 19, I joined the Marine Corps and carried those values into service. Before that, the farthest I’d been from home was Georgia; over the next four years, I completed two tours in Iraq and spent time stationed in Japan. Those experiences taught me discipline, perspective, and how to stay calm and focused when the stakes are high—qualities that now shape how I guide my clients through high‑stress decisions.
I left the Marines in 2009 and transitioned back to civilian life. In 2011, I started working as a heavyduty diesel mechanic. That role demanded precision, problem-solving, and the ability to diagnose what you couldn’t immediately see—skills that now help me spot potential issues with homes and navigate challenges behind the scenes. In 2013, I moved into surveying, something I had done out of high school but now approached with more experience. Surveying sharpened my eye for land, boundaries, and detail, giving me a strong foundation for evaluating property and understanding value.

By 2015, after one conversation with an agent, everything clicked. I realized real estate was where I could bring all of my experience together: the discipline and composure from the Marines, the technical mindset from mechanics, and the critical eye from surveying. That same year, I got licensed, bought a $200 laptop, and went all in on learning the business. I took an oldschool approach—knocking on doors, meeting people face-to-face, and earning trust one conversation at a time.

Over the years, I’ve worn many different hats: Marine, mechanic, surveyor, and now Realtor. In this business, you have to be an advisor, negotiator, project manager, and problemsolver, often in the same day. My goal is to be whatever my clients need in the moment while always protecting their best interests. I’m there to explain the process clearly, anticipate issues before they arise, and keep things moving smoothly so they can focus on their next chapter—not the stress of the transaction.
Real estate has allowed me to connect with incredible people, and I especially value helping fellow veterans and first‑time buyers who are putting so much on the line. Today, most of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals, which I consider the highest compliment. To me, that means I haven’t just closed deals—I’ve earned trust, built relationships, and a lasting place in my clients’ stories.

When I’m not working, I enjoy fishing, helping my father with cattle lease work, spending time with friends, traveling, and being on the water with my wife. Those moments keep me grounded and remind me why I do what I do: to help my clients feel confident, supported, and genuinely cared for through every step of their real estate journey.
Kris:
In 2008, I left my lifelong home in Michigan to start over in Southwest Florida. It was more than just a move—it was a complete lifestyle change that opened the door to new opportunities and relationships. Looking back, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
My life has always been centered around service and hard work. I was raised by a single father who worked multiple jobs to keep food on the table. Watching his commitment shaped my own work ethic and grounded me in what matters most: family and showing up for the people who count on you.

I went on to become a firefighter and paramedic, a role I still serve in today. The job is about being there for people on some of the hardest days of their lives and being someone they can trust to help them through it. You learn to think quickly, stay calm under pressure, and be a steady, reassuring presence when it matters most. At the same time, I worked as a builder, gaining hands-on experience constructing homes from the ground up and learning how much detail and care go into creating a safe, solid place to live.
After moving to Florida, I joined the Fort Myers Fire Department, where I now serve as a Captain, paramedic, hazmat technician, and special operations responder. This community is where I’ve built my life and my career in real estate. I know that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions most people will ever make. My role is to guide my clients through it, protect their interests, and help solve problems as they arise.
Our team has built a true one-stop shop for our clients, including a licensed general contractor and trusted local partners. When something needs to get done—from repairs to improvements—we have the resources to handle it. I often say, “If you can trust me with your life, you can trust me with your home,” and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and father of four. Family and service are at the center of everything I do, and they’re the reason I’m committed to taking care of the people and community that have given me so much.
Our expertise spans buying, selling, investing, and new construction. We meet clients where they are and shape the process around their goals, not the other way around. With options like our fly-and-buy program for relocators and tailored resources for first-time buyers, we make each step clearer and easier to navigate.
We maintain strong relationships with local builders and have extensive knowledge of new construction. Our experience and network allow us to handle even complex deals with confidence. Our in-house team supports pre-listing prep, home improvements, and Airbnb management for investors, helping clients maximize both value and long-term returns.
As a Marine Corps veteran and an active firefighter/paramedic, we bring a strong commitment to service into everything we do. Our clients’ goals become our mission, and we approach each challenge with creativity, integrity, and determination. By building genuine relationships and leveraging modern marketing and technology, we aim not just to achieve your real estate goals, but to exceed expectations and be a trusted resource long after closing.
Sincerely,
The Savings Specialists Realty One Group MVP
